VOLUNTEERS
The Cedar Park High School Swim and Dive Booster Club is run by an elected board. The Booster Club’s main function is to provide items such as food and travel expenses needed for our swimmers and divers to be successful. To ensure the smooth operation of our team, it is mandatory for every family to have at least 1 parent volunteer at some capacity throughout the season.
Below is a list of Volunteer positions available.
Award Banquet Coordinator: Plans the end of season awards banquet with a committee of parents including: finding location, planning dinner, coordinating senior gifts and team and senior slide show.
Award Banquet Committee: Assists the Banquet Coordinator with planning the end of season banquet. This includes but is not limited to finding a location, set up, tear down, coordination of the meal, slide shows, etc.
Daktronics Timing System/Touchpads: You will be required to time at two meets.
Meal Committee: You will sign up on a sign up genius for a specific meet to assists in the meal coordinator with breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner orders for pickup/delivery during away meets.
Pasta Party Host: Host one pasta party for the team during the season. A sign up genius will be sent out with available dates once we have our meet schedule.
Snack Coordinator: Shops for and collects inventory of snacks to be maintained for snack bins and coolers. Pack snack bins and coolers then coordinate delivery/pick up with snack committee so they can transport to meets.
Snack Committee:Through a sign up genius you will sign up for a specific meet (some meets are two days). You will collect the bins and coolers from the snack coordinator and transport them to the meet and back to the coordinator.
Team Photographers: Required to capture photographs of the team during at least 4 swim meets and several team events. Share pictures via google photos.
Trunk or Treat Coordinator: Serve as the adult point of contact and collaborate with the team captains in coordinating trunk decorations and facilitating.
Become an approved LISD volunteer
In order to support our CPHS swim team with any school activities, you need to register as a current LISD volunteer.
LISD requires volunteers to update their profile and agree to a background check once a year. Even if you were registered as a volunteer last year, you must go to the link below and sign-again.
