Head Coach Kyla Gargiulo

Coach Gargiulo grew up in New Jersey swimming for club and summer teams in the area. She was also a part of a 4x state championship high school swim team. In 2017, she received her undergraduate degree in Environmental Science from UNC-Asheville and then went on to earn a M.A. in Education. She is in her forth year teaching and coaching, second year at CPHS. Most recently she was the head coach of a high school swim team in Florida that earned a district championship, and a regional runner-up finish. Additionally, multiple swimmers qualified individually in the State Championship meet. Her philosophy to coaching involves the components of pride, dedication, and sportsmanship to have a successful positive season.
