District 17-5A Championship Meet

Here is the information for Districts: We are going to meet at the school at 8:30am and will leave at 8:45 am. We warm up at 9:40. We will be seated outside -- the weather will be pretty nice, but swimmers should still be some warm clothing. At 10:20 we will be honoring the seniors and the meet will begin at 10:30 am. A timeline and the heat sheet are attached. We will be wearing our new district shirts. Please do not forget to bring them as I would like to get some team photos afterwards. Please bring your pull over too. You may want to bring a baggie to put your mask in. And possibly an extra towel for relays to dry off blocks. Tomorrow will be a competitive day. This is the largest and fastest district meet that we have ever participated in. I am proud of all the hard work our team has put in this year and excited to see them step up and race their hearts out. We will be meeting at the school at 8:15am. We will get breakfast at the school and then drive up to Belton, leaving at 8:30am. We warm up at 10am and the meet begins at 11am. Spirit Day at TAKAVRON TACO TRUCK, Thursday - November 5th from 5pm-8pm at Twin Creeks Park (the corner of Twin Creeks Club Drive and Dervingham Drive). Diego Salazar's family has graciously offered to donate 10% of the sales from this event to the CPHS Swim and Dive Booster Club! Takavron Tacos will be taking pre-orders until noon on Thursday 11/5 for some of their delicious Authentic Monterrey style Mexican Tacos. Check out their Menu and Pre-Order Here! Walk-up service will also be available, although it is recommended that you pre-order to ensure you don't miss out! So, come out to the food truck at Twin Creeks on Thursday and enjoy some yummy food and help raise money for our team. Please spread the word to your family and friends. |
